　　Although it's a bit out of the way in southern Colorado Springs, this brewery – which in 2013 spearheaded a community market center in the shuttered Ivywild Elementary School – is worth seeking out for its Laughing Lab Scottish ale and pub grub.

　　Other back-to-school tenants include a bakery, a deli, a cafe, an art gallery, and a movie theater in the old gym.
