Iglesia de San Miguel
Iglesia de San Miguel-September 2024
Sep 16, 2024

Built between the 15th and 18th centuries, this richly adorned church blends Gothic, Renaissance and baroque architecture, and was modelled on Seville cathedral (with whom it possibly shares an architect). Its three-tiered, elaborately carved baroque bell tower is topped by a tile-patterned roof, while part of the main hall is graced by intricately sculpted, Portuguese-influenced late-Gothic pillars. Audio guides provide detail.
