　　This free outdoor exhibition is constructed on the former location of the presidential offices of George Washington and John Adams. Displays focus on the lives of nine enslaved African Americans who were part of Washington's household and there's a memorial to all enslaved Africans. It's a powerful reminder of the paradox at the heart of the birth of a free America.
