The oldest resort on the island is also the classiest: Southern Cross is a gorgeous boutique operation with an eco-conscious approach. There are 14 pastel-colored bungalows, most with private porches and outdoor showers, and all with glorious views of the sea and nearby Owen Island. Meals are excellent and the service is impeccable.
