The southernmost town in New Zealand, Bluff is located on the southern coast of South Island and is home to Bluff Hill, an extinct volcanic cone. Take a walk along the shore to visit it or stop by The Lighthouse Gallery to view work of local artists. Bluff is famous for their oysters, which are considered a delicacy in Australia. The Bluff Maritime Museum showcases a working triple expansion engine, a full oystering boat, and and various artifacts and displays.
