Prague London Paris Berlin Budapest Dublin Rome Venice Amsterdam Lisbon Barcelona Madrid Athens St PetersburgLocated on the East Coast of the Eastland Region, Gisborne is the first place in the world to see the sun every day. It is also one of the best places to learn about Maori culture as you will see old traditions that are still followed in many areas of the city. James Cook made his first landing here in 1769 as well. Travelers looking to explore the land can take a custom tour down the wine trail, or go on a peaceful Riverview horse trek. Those wanting to experience the waters can learn to surf at one of the local schools, or hop in a helicopter for an aerial tour or a heli-fishing experience. Other activities can include touring the Cidery, shark cage diving, Reef Ecology Tours, and exploring the town center.
