Poros is a small Greek island in the Northern Sporades island group, which lies east of the Pelion peninsula in the southern part of the Saronic Gulf. It is considered one of the prettiest islands in the Saronic and consists of two volcanic islands -- Sferia, a small rocky island where the town is located, and Kalavria, a larger island with lush green hills and several beaches.
