However, for travelers who are not on a pilgrimage, Tinos offers other attractions as well. Spread along this Cycladic island are gorgeous beaches and approximately 40 villages full of Greek tradition, handmade wares, and cubist architecture. Tinos hosts a strong artistic tradition as well, most of which revolves around marble sculpting. Many famous sculptors have come from the area in the past, and the tradition continues on.
