It’s always interesting to see new brands pop up in unusual places and familiar resort names arrive in popular destinations. This crop of new entries in the rewards program has something for everyone looking to redeem Hilton Honors points.
Of course, if you’re short on points, there are all kinds of ways to earn more points to get you closer to your dream vacation. Hilton Honors-affiliated credit cards deliver plenty of points for regular spending and bonus points for spending at Hilton family hotels.
Remember that Hilton Honors prices award redemptions dynamically (it no longer has an award chart), which means the number of points will vary by the night and local demand. Consider these new Hilton Honors properties for your next trip, whenever that may be. To make it easier, we sorted by region.
Recently joining Curio Collection by Hilton, this popular island resort mixes sun and sand with convenience to the city’s popular shopping and nightlife areas. The hotel’s name comes from the sailing term “reaching,” which refers to a “relaxed point of sail.” That sensation is evident in guest rooms, each of which has a balcony, and the bathroom vanities are designed to look like a ship’s hull.
Guests can also participate in the organized activities at Casa Marina, a Waldorf Astoria property on Key West. If you are not looking to venture overseas, this is a great redemption spot, especially if you’re just dipping your toes into the Hilton Honors program.
It’s about time that Hilton Honors members have a property to enjoy in Bermuda! Set to open early-to-mid-2021, Bermudiana Beach Resort is part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton. The resort has a fleet of four yachts for the 40-minute airport transfer or romantic sailings around the island. Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi has beach villas and overwater bungalows, some of which have private plunge pools. Imagine yourself lounging on the patio in a hammock or day bed with a cocktail in hand. Now, that’s what we call Hilton Honors points “well-spent” (or at least “well-splurged”).
If it’s privacy and romance that you’re after, reserve a candlelight dinner at one of the treetop tables at the resort’s Terra restaurant. They are crafted from bamboo, and there are seven of them.
