This year’s Wine & Dine Festival will be a true feast for the senses, featuring over 300 tasting booths from 35 countries. You’ll find a diverse range of beverages and dishes from around the globe, with a spotlight on Italian, Japanese, Cantonese, and French cuisines.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Wine & Dine Festival 2024 and its top highlights.
Wine enthusiasts will be thrilled by the variety of offerings, from the classic French Bordeaux to the refreshing New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Don't miss the chance to explore the rising stars of Chinese wine regions like Ningxia, Yunnan, and Shandong. Highlights include Guizhou Baijiu, a premium spirit used in state banquets, and the Jade Dove Cabernet, one of China’s “Top 10 Wines” as rated by wine critic James Suckling.
Beyond food and drinks, the festival creates a vibrant atmosphere with live music performances, interactive workshops, and cultural exhibitions. Whether you’re looking to relax to some tunes or learn the art of wine pairing from world-renowned experts, there’s plenty to explore.
One of the standout experiences at the Wine & Dine Festival this year is the Harbour Lounge, where visitors can enjoy breathtaking 180° views of Victoria Harbour while sipping expertly crafted cocktails by renowned mixologists. For an additional HK$350, this exclusive space offers a scenic escape paired with delicious drinks. Another highlight is the new Culinary Stars Zone, featuring nearly 12 Michelin-starred chefs and bartenders from Asia’s 50 Best Bars, who will be preparing signature dishes and showcasing luxurious spirits like whisky and gin. Whisky and gin lovers will find a dedicated section offering top-tier tastings of these spirits from around the world. Complementing the culinary delights, live music performances across multiple stages, including "Sunset Tasting" and intimate street music settings, will create a vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere throughout the festival.
The festival also offers a range of exciting workshops, starting with the "Spanish Red Wines & Tapas" session on Thursday, October 24, where Chef Alex Dominguez and sommelier Corinne Mui will demonstrate how to pair traditional Spanish tapas with white wines, making it a must-attend for food and wine lovers. For a more luxurious experience, the "Caviar and Wine Pairing" workshop on Friday, October 25, led by caviar specialist Joey Hau, alongside sake expert Blanca Wong and wine connoisseur Yan Yeung, will take participants through the fine art of pairing caviar with sake, wine, and champagne. Finally, on Saturday, October 26, the "Art of Gravity-Drip Sake" workshop will offer an in-depth look at Shizukuzake, a delicate brewing process, where attendees will have the opportunity to taste three premium sake varieties.
