Check Out These Top 5 Vegan Cafés In Delhi For The Perfect Brunch Outing-January 2024
Jan 14, 2025 5:39 PM

Thanks to the growing climate consciousness of how what we eat affects greenhouse gas emissions, more and more people are experimenting with low-carbon diets. In 2022, researchers from Leiden University in the Netherlands found that switching to plant-based diets could reduce annual agricultural production emissions by 61 per cent. In 2023, the global vegan food market was close to USD 25 billion, a number that encompassed a growing number of flexitarians looking to cut down on their meat consumption. In India, several companies offering vegan products have sprung up in the market, but estimating the precise number of people who profess to be vegan are hard to come by. That said, metropolitan cities like Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru are home to up-and-coming vegan food establishments that create delicious alternatives to products typically made of dairy and meat. Think vegan pizzas, sweets and desserts, and Indian curries made without ghee, butter and paneer.

In Delhi-NCR, there are many vegan and vegan-friendly restaurants that cater to those who want to have a good time eating flavourful meals without compromising on quality. Here are five of the top places you should visit in and around Delhi for a brunch outing with loved ones.
