Five great D.R. all-inclusives on sale now!
Five great D.R. all-inclusives on sale now!-September 2024
Sep 18, 2024 9:56 PM

You can save $113/night off of your stay at the Dreams Punta Cana Resort.

In the Dominican Republic, staying at an all-inclusive resort can be a great way to save cash — provided you stay at a place with quality buffets and drinks, where you can eat and drink your money’s worth. Since there are plenty of inedible buffets and gasoline-quality liquor selections out there, we made a special page listing all of our favorite Caribbean all-inclusives to help you plan the perfect trip. When it comes to value, nothing beats a top-notch all-inclusive with a fair price tag.

Except, of course, a top-notch all-inclusive that’s on sale.

This summer, five of our hands-down favorite all-inclusives in the D.R. are slashing rates up to 50 percent, making it an excellent time to plan an indulgent beach getaway. Below, find out where to score these hot summer deals.

Dreams Punta Cana Resort and Spa

$304/nt $191/night $113/nt (37%) 3.5 Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

A blasting, 620-room mega-resort with uniquely attentive service, Dreams packs in more goodies than most Punta Cana all-inclusives–including a mechanical bull, rock climbing wall, modern gym, full spa, massive streaming pool, six restaurants and 24-hour room service.

$293/nt $176/nt $117/nt (40%) 3.5 Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

An 877-room all-inclusive, the Occidental draws mostly young families with its massive, lagoon-shaped pool (one of Punta Cana’s best), popular beachside activities, lively entertainment, many restaurants, and all-night pizzeria. Rooms are well-decorated, and even include spa robes and slippers. Reasonably priced, this all-inclusive has bang for the buck.

$184/nt $157/nt $27/nt (15%) 3 Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

A 270-room, adults-only resort with a quiet expanse of beach, a large pool with Balinese beds, and bright rooms, the Punta Cana Princess attracts a more mature crowd. But with access to the adjacent Caribe Princess and Tropical Princess, guests don’t miss out on the gym or late night bars, making this resort a great value.

Grand Paradise Playa Dorada

$224/nt $112/nt $112/nt (50%) 3 Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic

Located in the safe mini-tourist city of Playa Dorada, this family-friendly resort has an excellent buffet, some of the newest, cleanest rooms in the D.R., and one of the best beaches on the north coast. It’s an incredible bargain, if you can ignore the cheap booze, the lingering service kinks, and a pool that’s less awe-inspiring than others.

$723/nt $470/nt $253/nt (35%) 4 Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

This secluded 53-room getaway is an hour from the airport on a bumpy dirt road, but it feels a million miles from Punta Cana’s mega-resorts. Giant rooms with gorgeous terraces, a top-notch spa, and two high-quality restaurants are all great, but when rates reach more than $600 per night, a twig-strewn beach and limited food options feel a bit disappointing.
