Some of the covered reasons for trip cancellation and trip interruption include:
Covered sickness, injury or death of you, a family member or traveling companion Common carrier delays resulting from inclement weather, mechanical breakdown or unannounced strikes Financial insolvency of a travel supplier Jury duty Your primary residence or accommodations at your destination are made uninhabitable by fire, flood, volcano, earthquake, hurricane or other natural disaster Mandatory hurricane evacuations Being called into emergency military duty for a natural disaster A documented theft of passports or visas Your involuntary termination of employment or layoff after you've been working with the same employer for at least one year A terrorist act which occurs in your departure city or in a city to which you are scheduled to travel while on your trip, and which occurs within 30 days of your scheduled departure date

Purchase Rule
This plan must be purchased the same day the first trip payment is made. In addition, the traveler must be medically able to travel at the time the policy is purchased.
10-Day Free Look
Generali offers a 10-day free look for the Go plan. In the 10 days after you purchase your plan, you have the ability to cancel your coverage and receive a full refund of the plan cost as long as you haven't left for your trip or filed a claim.
Policy Confirmations
You will receive a Description of Coverage (or Policy for residents of certain states) which describes the benefits and limitations in detail. If you do not receive your documents within 10 days or 24 hours for email, call Generali Global Assistance at 800-994-3765.

To reserve your cabin and lock in the final price, you will be required to place a deposit on your cruise. After you have placed a deposit to secure your reservation, you will be asked to pay the remaining balance of your fare at the final payment due date.

Cancellation and Refunds
Penalties may apply if you cancel or change your reservation. Penalties can be up to 100% of the amount paid, and deposits are often non-refundable. We recommend purchasing insurance to protect against covered unexpected events. Please check with your Vacations To Go cruise counselor for cancellation and refund policies for Hurtigruten cruises.
Enjoy a variety of traditional Norwegian cuisine during your cruise. Begin your day with a buffet-style breakfast offering a variety of cold meats, cheese, eggs, bacon, cereal, fruit and freshly baked breads. Lunch is a traditional ‘Cold Table’ with a selection of smoked and poached fish, cold meats, salad, some hot dishes, as well as desserts and fruit. Finally, dinner is 3-course set meal, and there is usually no other choice in addition to the set meal. The main course is either meat or fish, generally served with potatoes or vegetables.
Main Dining Room Policies: Upon embarkation, passengers should go to the restaurant onboard to make their table reservation for the duration of the voyage. In high season, mealtimes may vary if there are several sittings. The usual meal times are:
Breakfast from 7:30am-10:00am (open seating)
Lunch from 12:00pm-1:00pm (open seating)
Dinner from 6:30pm-7:00pm (assigned seating)
Dress Code: Passengers are not required to change for dinner, but if they choose to do so the dress is casual.
Beverage Policy: Coffee and tea are complimentary throughout your voyage. On most expedition sailings, wine and beer are included with meals (not included on Norwegian coastal voyages.) Other beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, during the day are at an additional cost.
Special Requests: Special diets can be catered for as long as passengers advise the cruise line ahead of time. Passengers with very strict requests may find limited variety among the food offered. Kosher meals are not available.

On all ships, smoking is only permitted in designated areas on outside decks. Smoking is not permitted when the ships are in port and fuelling, and staff will advise guests when they are not allowed to smoke outside. Smoking in cabins is prohibited and subject to a fine.
