The following information is a summary of GuestCare's benefits and services and is subject to change. A brochure detailing the coverage terms and conditions, including the pre-existing condition exclusion and other applicable limitations, will be sent with your Pre-Cruise Packet prior to sailing. Trip Cancellation
Up to 100% of Trip Cost
Reimburses your prepaid, non-refundable expenses if you must cancel your trip due to a covered reason.
Maximum coverage: $100,000. Protect your trip before your final trip payment date to be eligible for pre-existing medical conditions coverage*.
Trip Interruption
Up to 100% of Trip Cost
Reimburses the unused, non-refundable portion of your trip and the increased transportation costs to return home or to continue your trip due to a covered reason. Maximum coverage: $100,000.
Emergency Medical and Dental
$75,000
Provides reimbursement for covered expenses incurred during your trip due to covered medical and dental emergencies. No deductible. $750 maximum for emergency dental care.
Emergency Transportation
$250,000
Provides benefits for medically necessary transportation to the nearest appropriate facility following a covered illness or injury during your trip. May also cover the cost of your transportation back home following a covered illness or injury.
Travel Delay

Reimburses up to $300 per day per person for additional travel and lost prepaid expenses if your trip is delayed for a covered reason*. May also reimburse additional transportation expenses if you miss your cruise because of a covered delay.

Purchasing Travel Insurance
For US residents outside of the State of New York, Silversea offers a travel insurance plan for the full purchase price of your cruise as well as air and/or land program costs to safeguard your investment and provide peace of mind during your travels. Silversea’s cancellation penalties are strictly enforced. For your convenience, if you (or your travel professional) have indicated you wish to purchase trip protection, the cost of the plan, which is based upon your total vacation price, will be included upon your cruise invoice. To receive this valuable protection, simply remit the amount indicated to Silversea via your Travel Agent or Cruise Consultant along with your cruise payment. To reserve your cabin and lock in the final price, you will be required to place a deposit on your cruise. After you have placed a deposit to secure your reservation, you will be asked to pay the remaining balance of your fare at the final payment due date.

Cancellation and Refunds
Penalties may apply if you cancel or change your reservation. Penalties can be up to 100% of the amount paid, and deposits are often non-refundable. As your ship changes latitude and longitude, Silversea's menu changes to reflect the flavors of the region. Step into The Restaurant and you know you've arrived for a very special dining experience. The Restaurant is elegant, but not stuffy. The European-trained waiters are attentive and personable. The inspired dishes, created by Silversea's Master Chefs, are marked by innovation and creativity. The Terrace Café offers the same culinary excellence in a more casual setting. Silversea's regular room service menu is available 24 hours a day with multi-course meals available from the Restaurant during regular dining hours.
Main Dining Room Policies: There is open seating on all Silversea cruises.
Dress Code: For casual dinners, appropriate attire for men is slacks (no jeans) and a sports shirt, while women are advised to wear slacks and blouse, a sundress or a pantsuit. At informal dinners, men are expected to wear a jacket, with or without a tie, whereas women should don a dress or pantsuit. On formal evenings, men should wear a dark suit or a tuxedo, while women should dress in an evening gown or cocktail dress.
9-night cruise or less: 1 Formal Night
10-13 night cruise: 2 Formal Nights
14+ night cruise: 3 Formal Nights
Beverage Policy: All beverages included throughout the cruise.
Special Requests: Special meals are available including low-calorie, vegetarian, no MSG, low/no sodium and low/no cholesterol meals, as well as sugar-free and fat-free desserts. With at least 75 days advance notification, Silversea can offer a selection of pre-packaged kosher meals to guests on all ships and itineraries.

Most areas on board are non-smoking, and smoking is not permitted in guest suites or guest suite verandas or balconies. However, cigarette, cigar, electronic cigarette and pipe smoking is permitted in the Connoisseur's Corner (including outside starboard deck of Humidor on Silver Muse, Silver Moon and Silver Dawn) and in specifically designated areas. These areas include designated tables and seating outside of the Panorama Lounge, port side only (starboard side on Silver Muse, Silver Moon and Silver Dawn). In addition, smoking is allowed in designated tables at the Pool Grill and in specifically-designated outside areas on Decks 6 aboard Silver Explorer and deck 4 aft aboard Silver Origin.
