Cancel For Any Reason
If you must cancel your trip ahead of departure, the nonrefundable portion of your trip cost can be fully reimbursed in Viking travel vouchers.
Payments are for the full Travel Protection Plan, which is made up of the Part A Non-Insurance Cancel For Any Reason Waiver, and Part B Insurance Benefits, and Assistance Services (a separate fee for Assistance Services is included in the Plan Payment).
Insurance benefits in the Plan are subject to limitations and exclusions, including an exclusion for pre-existing conditions. To reserve your cabin and lock in the final price, you will be required to place a deposit on your cruise. After you have placed a deposit to secure your reservation, you will be asked to pay the remaining balance of your fare at the final payment due date.

Cancellation and Refunds
Penalties may apply if you cancel or change your reservation. Penalties can be up to 100% of the amount paid, and deposits are often non-refundable. Viking provides several different dining specialties, including regional, American, Scandinavian, Italian, and multicourse tasting menus with wine pairings. There’s also more casual fare like burgers and afternoon tea and scones. With such a variety at no extra charge, there’s something to please every palate.
Main Dining Room Policies: Viking guests will enjoy open seating at every meal.
Dress Code: For evenings, while there are no “formal nights,” the recommended onboard dress is "elegant casual" for all dining venues after 6:00 PM except The World Café, which is always casual. Suggested attire for ladies includes a dress, skirt or slacks with a sweater or blouse; for gentlemen, slacks and a collared shirt. A tie and jacket are optional but not required.
Beverage Policy: Complimentary wine, beer & soft drinks are offered during onboard dinner and lunch service, plus specialty coffee and teas are available 24 hours a day. For those who would like premium cocktails or wines and spirits, Viking offers the Silver Spirits beverage package. Ask for details on board.
Special Requests: Every meal has vegetarian options and chefs will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests. Guests requiring special diets -- low salt, low sugar, gluten-free and low cholesterol -- should alert Viking 90 days prior to departure and inform the Maître d’ when on board.
