Windstar Cruises operates a fleet of small luxury cruise ships known for its intimate yacht style experience and unique voyages to the world's best small ports and hidden harbors. Windstar's motor-sail yachts with billowing white sails and the all-suite power yachts are small enough to pamper you and large enough to give you all the comfort and entertainment you expect on a luxury cruise. More laid back than most other lines, passengers can chat with officers on the bridge, have a cocktail with friends at the pool bar, go ashore or simply enjoy time together.
The atmosphere on each Windstar cruise ship is elegantly casual and unregimented. There is no formal dress code, so when you pack, leave your jacket, ties and gowns at home. AmphorA, the ships' main dining restaurant, features an innovative menu of gourmet specialties and local dishes. To enhance the dining experience, Windstar offers the chance to dine under the stars at the Candles Grill for steak and skewers. Available for lunch or dinner, Stella Bistro on the Wind Surf offers contemporary dining with a French flair.

Windstar Full Sail Travel Protection is an optional plan available for purchase at the time of your cruise deposit and may be purchased up until 90 days prior to the start of a guest's vacation with Windstar. As certain terms, conditions, and exclusions may apply, we recommend the purchase at deposit so that you can help protect against conditions that may arise afterward. The Full Sail Travel Protection Program is not in effect until the plan cost has been received by Windstar Cruises, in addition to any cruise deposits/payments due.

To reserve your cabin and lock in the final price, you will be required to place a deposit on your cruise. After you have placed a deposit to secure your reservation, you will be asked to pay the remaining balance of your fare at the final payment due date.

Cancellation and Refunds
Penalties may apply if you cancel or change your reservation. Penalties can be up to 100% of the amount paid, and deposits are often non-refundable. Windstar Cruises are known for making guests feel that they are sailing on their own private yacht, and a hallmark of that is the classic resort environment on board. The attitude is understated, the feeling relaxed. Dining on board is a celebration of that very same individual spirit. Dining when and with whom is your choice as there are no formal reservations or table assignments.
The AmphorA restaurant serves an innovative menu of gourmet specialties and spotlights local dishes. Experience savory dishes such as Dover sole, duck a l'orange and lobster ravioli. Dessert is a decadent affair with dishes such as chocolate caramel mousse and dark cherry flambe. Windstar's extensive wine list has been designed to complement their menus and enhance flavors. On each ship, during each sailing, guests will be able to partake in special wine tastings led by the sommelier. If you choose to dine in, don a plush terry robe and call room service for the evening menu and wine list.
Exclusive to Wind Surf, Stella Bistro offers contemporary dishes with a French flair. The name, derived from the Latin word for star, was chosen as a tribute to the restaurant’s special dining experience. This unique restaurant is open for lunch and dinner.
Candles Grill, the ship's on deck restaurant, offers the chance to dine under the stars and has a menu of various steaks and skewers, all served with a delectable selection of sauces. The Veranda's outdoor seating was significantly expanded, creating an ideal mid-ship area for guests to enjoy breakfast and lunch alfresco. The interior includes a new buffet, new lighting, and epicurean style display counters. The Compass Rose was also reconfigured to open up expansively to the adjoining outdoor deck.
Main Dining Room Policies: There are no assigned tables or seating. Choosing when to dine and with whom are entirely up to you. (Seating usually begins at 7:30 p.m. and will be printed in the ship's daily program.)
Dress Code: Attire onboard Windstar is specified as casual. Look around the ship's main dining room, AmphorA, and you will see people dressed beautifully, yet casually--no jackets or ties required. Appropriate attire for men is slacks, polo shirts, button down shirts, and dress shoes. Recommended attire for women is slacks, skirts, casual dresses, sundresses. Designer denim dress jeans is allowed for men and women.
Beverage Policy: All non-alcoholic beverages including bottled water, sparkling water, sodas, fresh juices, milk, fruit smoothies, tea, coffee, cappuccinos, lattes, mochas and espresso are complimentary.
Special Requests: Special meals are available including low-cholesterol, vegetarian, low/no sodium and fat-free meals, as well as sugar-free and fat-free desserts. Kosher meals are not available.
