Oyster’s latest adventure: Where are we now?-November 2024

Chow down: One of America's favorite soups, very popular in our upcoming destination.

We’ll be launching hotel reviews from our latest destination in just a few days. And while we could come right out and tell you which U.S. city that is, what’s the fun in that? Instead, you’ll have to guess.

Your first hint is above: a classic American soup full of chunky seafood and hearty goodness (commonly served with our favorite carbohydrate: crackers).

More photo hints after the jump.

Fall foliage in the city’s main park.

The city’s 50-acre park is one of the oldest in the nation, a superlative you hear a lot around here.

This hotel bar is considered one of the nicest in its city.

Sometimes you just want to go where everybody knows your name, and we reckon that the bartenders at the Oak Bar, seen here, know lots of names: the bar is in a hotel that opened in 1912.

One of the city’s big tourist spots and a great place for a quick bite.

Built in 1825, this indoor market originally housed vendors hawking staples like eggs, produce, bread, and dairy products. The building’s still full of food stalls today, though you’re more likely to find pizza or cupcakes than fresh milk. Just outside the market, vendors sell crafts and trinkets.

Still clueless about our next destination? Check back in a few days for our new hotel reviews.
