The beaches are protected by the large, sheltering reef that also provides superb snorkeling and diving encounters. The reef is home to a variety of beautiful marine life, while the coral beds support a variety of wildlife and plant life including feathery sea lavender, wild orchids, and turpentine trees. Visitors can explore the ocean through water sports and fishing adventures, or see the natural landscapes though hikes along nature trails like Bones Bright and Nutmeg Point. Transportation can also be found in the form of taxis and jeeps for rent. Escape into the culture, indulge with a meal of fresh lobster, and relax with a specialty island beverage.
