Sitting at the southwestern tip of Java is the Ujung Kulon National Park. The area has been abandoned by humans since a tsunami in 1883, and now houses the natural reserve of Krakatoa. Ujung Kulon National Park has tons of natural beauty and diversity in its wildlife, but it's most well known for its study of inland volcanoes and rainforests. There are also a wide variety of rare or endangered species that reside in the park, including Javan rhinos, 57 species of plant, 35 mammals, 72 species of reptiles, and 240 species of birds.
