Hard Rock Hotel and Casino's iconic entrance
Like the brilliant Jersey Shore cast before them, the miscreants of the next Real World season are hunkered down in a hotel for several months — during which they’ll stop being polite and start being real. News broke on Friday that the 25th season of the MTV reality show is being filmed in Las Vegas’ , where the cast members are living it up in one of the hotel’s high roller suites. Not that they’re the first reality stars to take up residence in a hotel: Real World’s last Las Vegas season took place at The Palms Casino Resort, and the Jersey Shore season currently airing was filmed at the Metropole Hotel in Miami.
The 25th season of Real World doesn’t air until the first quarter of 2011, but we love this hotel — we consider it the best party hotel in Las Vegas — so we thought we’d show you around and give you a sneak peek of what to expect. Below, see where the cast will partying, tanning, pampering, eating, and gambling.
Rehab Pool Party
The hotel is known for Rehab, Las Vegas’ raunchiest, wildest pool party that takes place every Sunday during the summer.
Rehab Pool next to the Paradise and Casino Towers
When there aren’t people wildly partying and making out in the pools, they’re actually quite lovely and relaxing, with beach-like sand, poolside wait service, private cabanas, and poolside gaming.
HRH Tower King Supreme Suite
The cast will be staying in a high-roller suite (no word on which of the hotel’s three towers it’s in), but if you want to stay at the hotel like the cast and you’re not a high roller, you still have plenty of options. The hotel’s rooms are split among three towers: the original Casino Tower, the Paradise Tower, and the HRH Tower. The photo above shows one of the suites in the all-suite HRH Tower, the newest tower of the three.
Casino Tower Deluxe Suite
The Casino Tower may be the hotel’s oldest tower, but the rooms were recently renovated and are now plenty stylish, edgy, and sumptuous. Above is the bedroom of a suite, but even standard rooms are outfitted in a similar motif.
Paradise Tower room
The Paradise Tower opened in July 2009 with 409 rooms designed with “sexy sophistication” in mind.
Vanity Nightclub in HRH Tower
Vanity Nightclub opened along with HRH Tower at the end of December 2009, and quickly became one of Sin City’s hottest nightclubs. We’re sure the cast will make their way past the bouncer’s wrath at some point.
Pink Taco restaurant
Pink Taco is one of the hotel’s many restaurants, which include Nobu, Ago, and Rare 120. You can make what you will of the name…
Mr. Lucky’s 24-7
The cast is bound to wind up here, a 24-7 eatery that serves diner fare like burgers, pizzas, and sandwiches.
Britney Spears’ outfit from her
The hotel doubles as a museum of sorts, displaying a ton of music memorabilia, from costumes worn on tour or in music videos to signed guitars, cymbals, and drumsticks. The lobby of the new HRH Tower has the gem shown above: the famous schoolgirl outfit that Britney Spears wore in the video for her first single, “…Baby One More Time.”
Prince’s outfit from his Purple Rain tour
This Prince outfit is just one of the many, many pieces of memorabilia on display (though we’re pretty sure that by now Real World cast members are too young to know who Prince is).
Casino at HRH Tower
The casino in HRH Tower, seen here, adds an additional 40,000 square feet of casino to the original casino in, well, the Casino Tower.
Pole dancing studio in HRH Tower
Leave it to the sexy Hard Rock to have a pole dancing studio right next to its fitness center. Who needs spinning when you can take a pole dancing class to get your heart pumping?
Reliquary Spa in HRH Tower
The Casino Tower has Rock Spa, but HRH Tower has taken pampering to a whole new level with Reliquary Spa. If the cast knows what’s good for them, they’ll head here for the afternoon, hitting up the co-ed Roman bathhouse seen here. Think plush robes, free bottled water, chilled towels, and all the sauciness your imagination will allow.
Women’s lounge at Reliquary Spa in HRH Tower
When you’re done with the Roman bath, the individual men and women’s lounges provide a place to relax with a TV, magazines, hot tea, juices, and fruit.
