“Home Alone 2: Lost in New York” features scenes that have gone on to play a prominent role in pop culture long after the film’s 1992 debut -- the pizza-filled limo ride, the pigeon lady encounter, and of course, the cameo appearance from Donald Trump at The Plaza hotel. Now, to celebrate the film’s 25th anniversary, The Plaza is offering a package that allows guests to step into Kevin McCallister’s shoes for a night.

Guests who book the package will have the chance to taste-test a ‘90s-inspired menu with upscale (and nostalgic) childhood favorites as well as take part in an interactive photo booth experience, according to the hotel’s website. An over-the-top in-room ice cream sundae, just like the one Kevin indulges in, will also be included. Plus, the hotel’s concierge team can arrange for guests to get lost in the Big Apple and experience quintessential New York sights, including the Empire State Building and Wollman Rink.
Rates start at $895, just shy of the $967 Kevin spent on room service during his stay. The package will be available from November 17, 2017 through October 29, 2018, but for those who wish to stay at The Plaza without all the film-inspired bells and whistles can book directly on zzdtravel.com.
