The 10 Best Adults-Only Pools EVER for a Sexy, Steamy Time
The 10 Best Adults-Only Pools EVER for a Sexy, Steamy Time-November 2024
Nov 14, 2024 3:21 PM

For couples seeking a relaxing oasis, adults-only pools make a big splash as grownups can take a swim without getting stuck in the middle of a Marco Polo game. But the poolside perks at the watery adult playgrounds that make our "best of the best" list go far beyond just being kid-free. These 10 trendy adults-only pools offer up everything from cabanas with spiked snow cones to swim-up blackjack, from live music to free sunscreen. And of course, they've all got plenty of comfy chairs and recliners for some serious (and seriously sexy) lounging.

This secluded beachfront setting is perfect for romance, especially for parents looking for a kid-free poolside escape. Drop the kiddos off at the Four Season’s supervised playground and hit the adult-oriented Tamai Pool complex — complete with a whirlpool, full bar, and private cabanas. Soothing music plays underwater and there are plenty of comfy lounge chairs for settling in with a free magazine — after you’ve lathered up with the free sunscreen.

If your goal is to unwind, you’ll appreciate this adults-only pool’s “silent cell phone” policy. The Relaxation Pool at The Grand Del Mar in San Diego is perfect for folks looking to unplug. The saline saltwater lap pool is set at a warm 83 degrees and offers an underwater sound system. Pool attendants come around throughout the day to provide guests with iced towels, frozen grapes and yummy sorbet bites.

Located in the quiet hills of California, Ventana Inn is strictly for grownups, and features two pristine adults-only swimming pools. If you prefer to trade in your bathing suit for your birthday suit, take a dip in the resort’s famed clothing-optional pool located on the west end of the property. Both of the pools are outdoors and kept at a comfy 80 degrees year-round.

Aruba is known to be a hot spot for honeymooners — and the Marriott Resort caters to love birds with its new H2Oasis pool. This 10,000-square-foot pool terrace comes with snuggle-worthy cabanas complete with iPod docks and rum-infused snow cones. And after a day soaking up the sun, guests can head up to the hotel’s 8th floor to enjoy free food and drinks at the adult-friendly Tradewinds Lounge.

Adults will feel like they won the jackpot (and maybe they will have!) at the Caesars Palace’s adults-only pool, which comes complete with swim-up blackjack. Not only are the grounds at the adults-only Venus Pool Club classic “Caesar” — with Roman statues and a massive 18-foot-tall waterfall — but spa services are also available, along with snacks and drinks. For those looking to prolong the water play, stick around when the DJs amp up the scene on Fridays and Saturdays.

Here, take a dip at the super hip adults-only pool “Cain at The Cove.” This 9,000-square-foot pool is a monster (in a good way!), and couples can expect plenty of cuddle room. Another perk? Freestanding persimmon daybeds surround the pool and a DJ spins tunes while you soak up the sun.

Located in the southern portion of the resort, the Four Seasons Tranquil Reflection Pool is a quiet oasis for grownups. Surrounded by a heart-shaped teak deck, this free-form pool is perfect for laps or romance. Sunbathers can sit back with a strawberry daiquiri in hand while enjoying the amazing views of the Carribean waters.

You won’t find pollywogs at the Viceroy. This beachside resort is 100% kid-free and offers 41 exclusive villas with private plunge pools. If you really want to splurge, book the Ocean View Villa. The luxury pad is perfect for couples looking for their own private retreat, with a private patio hammock, over-sized chaise lounges, and a private swimming pool. Tip: Before rinsing off in your private outdoor shower, ask the soap concierge to deliver a special bar of their scented organic soap, hand-cut from large soap blocks. Scents range from rose to chocolate.

The calm, adults-only pool at Hotel Guanahani & Spa in St. Barts is surrounded by a beautiful deck, which in turn opens up to towering palm trees that line the pristine beach. Before hitting the pool for a relaxing dip, adults can drop the tots off at the resort’s children’s club program and take part in some of the many free water sports — such as canoeing and kayaking –that are available. The spa is also a great place to unwind, with outdoor showers, tranquil massages, and beauty treatments.

A 4,004-room mega-resort, Sin City’s Aria stands as the shiny centerpiece of the $11 billion City Center . The massive hotel curves around the top of the horseshoe-shaped complex and aims to outdo the famous Strip giants with its 150,000-square-foot casino — not to mention its five pools. For those looking to splash around with the cool crowd, visit the adult-only Liquid Pool Lounge. This outdoor playground features two small pools and a popular scene — particularly on weekends. The pool, however, is open seven days and week and serves food and drinks so you can stay all day long.
