From butlers and private pools to free spa treatments and Champagne, the following resorts epitomize the high life. Check out the 16 best all-inclusive luxury resorts around the world to help you get inspired for your next dream vacation.

1. Constance Moofushi, Maldives

The Maldives has long been a luxury traveler’s playground, but the Constance Moofushi all-inclusive resort is one of the finest in the world. Your experience here starts with one of the best private airport lounges around, establishing a luxe vibe before guests even board the seaplane in Male to reach the small, private island. The resort blends chic design and a high-end atmosphere with a casual, beachy vibe that’s exactly what the doctor ordered for complete relaxation. Constance Moofushi is particularly great for diving enthusiasts, as it’s within 30 minutes of the world’s best dive spots and has an excellent house reef. The 110 rustic-chic rooms feature premium minibars, top-notch entertainment systems, and stunning sea views — some are even directly over the water. Along with an idyllic beach, a stay here comes with snorkeling and water sports as well as great food and drink.

2. Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle, Thailand

Set amid the lush jungle landscape of Southeast Asia’s famed Golden Triangle, this Four Seasons is one of the most stunning in the brand’s portfolio. The resort, in the extreme north of Thailand, nearly straddles the border of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar, and is only accessible by private boat. The 15 luxury tents all include huge antique-style bathtubs, outdoor rainfall showers, unlimited minibars, free bottles of Champagne, and enormous balconies that overlook the Ruak River and jungle. Think being in the middle of nowhere means you’ll be bored? Think again. There are countless activities here, including wildlife excursions and educational experiences, as well as a luxe spa and jungle-shrouded pool. Transfers to Chiang Rai’s airport are also included, as are Jeep shuttles around the property.

3. The Brando, Tahiti

What’s more luxurious than posting up on your own private island for a week? Almost nothing. To that end, The Brando is one of the most exclusive retreats in the world. As you might suspect, the name comes from Marlon Brando, who purchased the island after falling in love with it while filming “Mutiny on the Bounty.” Hollywood history aside, the resort is home to 35 private villas with plunge pools and direct access to empty stretches of pristine white-sand beach. All-inclusive services must be experienced to be believed here, and include cuisine from a Michelin two-star chef, one treatment per day at a holistic spa, and unlimited activities, from exploring the lagoon in a Polynesian outrigger canoe to attending lectures about local marine life. Arriving at the resort via a private plane from Tahiti adds to the resort’s exclusivity, and is included for guests staying at least a week.

4. Jade Mountain Resort, St. Lucia

It’s hard to overstate just how beautiful the scenery is at the Jade Mountain Resort in St. Lucia. It’s spectacular setting — high on the hills above the sea and with jaw-dropping Pitons views — makes it one of the most romantic resorts in the world. The 29 enormous suites are a highlight, with innovative, open fourth walls that frame views of the sea from anywhere in the room — whether you’re on the canopied bed, in the raised whirlpool tub, and (in all but the entry-level category) private infinity pool. The open-air restaurant serves excellent meals, and — in the absence of TVs and kids — you’ll get nothing but peace and quiet. You’ll have to take a short shuttle ride or hike down to use the two beaches, free water sports, and dive center at sister property Anse Chastanet.

5. andBeyond Xaranna Okavango Delta Camp, Botswana

andBeyond Xaranna Okavango Delta Camp isn’t just a hotel, it’s an experience. Covered drinks include Champagne, mixed drinks, and basic wine (premium wines will cost extra). The nine safari tents feature big soaking tubs, indoor/outdoor showers, private plunge pools, and four poster beds, with a sleek decor and water lily motif inspired by the delta region.

6. Samabe Bali Suites & Villas

Bali offers a wide range of resorts, from budget crash pads in Kuta to the luxurious enclaves along the Nusa Dua Peninsula. But it’s not flush with all-inclusive properties. That changes at the Samabe Bali, an ultra-luxurious beachfront resort located atop a cliff a five-minute drive from central Nusa Dua. This boutique resort has only 81 units, which blend contemporary and traditional Indonesian decor, plus top-notch amenities and balconies offering expansive ocean views. Villas have private infinity pools and up to two bedrooms. With a private beach, a wonderful spa, two excellent restaurants, a gorgeous infinity pool, a kids’ club, and tons of daily activities, there is little guests can’t do on-site. Plus, all-inclusive rates cover everything from free daily spa treatments to cultural tours to beachside yoga classes.

7. Travaasa Hana, Maui

The Travaasa Hana, Maui is one of the most prestigious all-inclusive resorts in the United States. Ok, it’s not technically an all-inclusive, but all-inclusive packages are available that include, food, drinks, and even spa credits. Adding to all of that pampering, the hotel’s setting is nothing short of stunning. Overlooking Hana Bay, you can expect rustic luxury amid Maui’s lush, secluded east coast. Visitors must make the long, windy drive along the Road to Hana or take a short flight from the main airport — free for some packages — to reach this peaceful oceanfront property. Once you’re here, stand-alone bungalows are the star of the show, and all feature separate tubs and showers plus big furnished terraces with garden or ocean views. Expansive grounds house two outdoor pools, a hot tub, an elegant spa with outdoor hot tubs, a wellness pavilion with daily yoga and meditation classes, tennis courts, and a small fitness center. It’s a special place, for sure, and a prime destination for special occasions.

8. Grand Velas Los Cabos

The newest addition to the Grand Velas luxury properties, the Los Cabos outpost is easily one of the most luxe all-inclusive hotels in Mexico. The grounds are simply gorgeous, dripping with flowers and framing a stunning series of pools that lead to the beach. This is all complemented with a dizzying array of dining and drinking options, from French fine dining to casual Mexican seafood — plus interiors that feel nothing short of opulent. There are almost no limits on the food and drink options that are included, and nearly all top-shelf beverages are included. The spa is a stunner, as are the wellness facilities. Rooms are massive, and all include beautiful terraces with views of the Sea of Cortez.

9. Blackberry Farm, Tennessee

This gorgeous farm hotel is a secluded, serene haven for foodies and nature lovers. Guests can immerse themselves in the beauty of the Appalachians by enjoying the venue’s 4,200 acres of land and all the various activities offered. The restaurant, The Barn, offers a true farm-to-table dining experience as a majority of the produce is picked from the property’s garden. There’s also a stunning, tranquil spa and two pools that visitors can enjoy. Guests can stay in luxurious cottages or in a charming room in the Main House. Keep in mind that while all gourmet meals and soft drinks are included — as well as wine tastings — most alcohol will cost extra.

10. Cobblers Cove, Barbados

If you’re after a hotel with a smaller, more intimate scale and service that’s personalized, Cobblers Cove is the luxury choice for you. Like something lifted straight from Instagram, this colonial-styled gem is a boutique luxury hideaway that blends British elegance with Caribbean island chic on a pristine beach. Set among lush gardens, 44 delightful suites feature separate living areas and folding doors that lead to large patios with panoramic views. Intimate atmosphere and exceptional service attract many return guests, as does Camelot — revered as one of the finest restaurants on Barbados. Arriving here feels like being welcomed into a family home — albeit an incredibly posh one — and perks like free water sports (including water skiing), afternoon tea in the Great House, and twice daily maid service merely hint at what’s in store here.

11. Spice Island Beach Resort, Grenada

Opened in 1961 on the golden sands of Grand Anse Beach, Spice Island Beach Resort is still one of the most elegant and well-regarded resorts on Grenada. After undergoing a complete renovation in 2013, the resort’s immaculately kept grounds, bright and breezy rooms, and effortlessly chic decor fulfill its promise to be “a place of unpretentious luxury.” Here, the all-inclusive rates include all meals at the resort’s two restaurants, fully stocked minibars, premium drinks, and free Wi-Fi. Though there are a variety of on-site activities, peace and relaxation are also easy to find.

12. The Village Coconut Island, Phuket

Only accessible by water taxi or helicopter ride, The Village Coconut Island has a feeling of exclusivity and seclusion. Here, huge contemporary villas and suites come equipped with full kitchens or kitchenettes, and some even have plunge pools with spectacular views of the gardens or the gorgeous Phang Nga Bay. There are three on-site restaurants, and a cooking school where guests can learn to make traditional Thai cuisine. The hotel’s two beautiful infinity-edge pools are real highlights, but guests can also enjoy the hotel’s private beach and water sports such as kayaking and sailing.

13. Fowl Cay Resort, Bahamas

Crowded beaches are unheard of at Fowl Cay Resort, a private island retreat where a maximum of 28 guests have free range of 50 acres and three beaches. Each spacious villa comes with free use of its own personal boat and golf cart, fully stocked kitchens and wet bars, and jaw dropping island views. All-inclusive rates are just that–everything from top shelf liquor to water sports equipment is included in the price of a villa rental. However, some of the villas feature outdated decor and worn furnishings that seem inconsistent with the resort’s high nightly rates.

14. The Royal Hideaway Playacar, Playa Del Carmen

The Royal Hideaway is a member of exclusive hospitality consortium Leading Hotels of the World, and as such is one of the most luxurious properties in the area. It features upscale rooms with high-end amenities, a full-service spa with great treatments, several pools, and the best food around. The beautiful grounds, overall sophisticated vibe, adults-only policy, and beautiful beachfront location a short drive from shopping on Playa’s Fifth Avenue make it one of the most attractive options for couples in Playacar.

15. Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort, St. Lucia

A bit more lively than Jade Mountain Resort — it’s closest rival on St. Lucia — the Sugar Beach Viceroy might just have one of the best locations on the island. It sits right in between the Pitons and on two beautiful white-sand beaches. True to the Viceroy brand, the rooms here skew sleek and contemporary, and all come with private plunge pools, butlers, and 24-hour room service. The larger villas and cottages offer living rooms and huge bathrooms (some with outdoor showers and hot tubs). Features include a family-friendly pool, fitness center, tennis courts, and free water sports. The romantic tree-house spa is one of the island’s best, and scores rave reviews from previous guests.

16. Le Blanc Spa Resort, Cancun

In a town full of rowdy, basic all-inclusive resorts, Le Blanc Spa Resort stands well above the pack. In fact, it’s one of the most luxurious resorts in Cancun, and the entire state of Quintana Roo, Mexico. Decor and design are attractive, but the services and perks are what really draw all-inclusive lovers here. You’ll find a gorgeous white-sand beach, decadent spa (guests get free access to the hydrotherapy area), stunning pools (two with swim-up bars), and pampering service. Expect butlers who will unpack your clothes and pool attendants who will provide cool towels for your eyes. The chic restaurants serve great food and don’t require reservations (aside from the stunningly designed Lumiere). You can balance all of that indulgence with some excellent fitness offerings as well, including a great gym and multiple daily classes like aqua spinning and Pilates.
