Editor's note: Radisson is now part of the Choice Privileges loyalty program. This content is being updated to reflect this change. In the meantime, read more about this news here.
Radisson Hotel Group includes properties all over the world, mainly in the U.S., Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Although the hotel chain has two separate loyalty programs: Radisson Rewards Americas and Radisson Rewards, points can be easily transferred between them to book award nights — and it is easy to plan your points redemptions ahead of time with Radisson’s award chart.
Here's what to know about earning and redeeming free nights and other rewards in the programs.
Free nights at Radisson properties start at 15,000 points, with no blackout dates on standard rooms. Radisson’s top hotel categories require 75,000 points per night or 112,000-112,500 points for a premium room.
As long as the hotel has availability on the dates you need, you can redeem points for a free night.
Although Radisson now has two loyalty programs, the cost of award nights for a standard room, premium room and Points + Cash redemption remain the same in both. Radisson Rewards provides a "family room" redemption that is priced at 23%-25% above the cost of a standard room.
Radisson Rewards Americas offers discounted rooms, known as RewardSaver rooms, which cost 33% fewer points than standard rooms.
When making award bookings at hotels in the U.S., Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean, you will redeem Radisson Rewards Americas points.
To make an award booking in these regions, you’ll need to go to the Radisson Americas site.
When booking award nights at hotels in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific, you will be redeeming Radisson Rewards points.
To book a hotel in these regions, head over to the Radisson Hotels site.

Radisson has provided a breakout of the number of properties spread across all five hotel categories. Although the majority of hotels are concentrated in Categories 1, 2 and 3, the changes reflect a devaluation, at least in the Radisson Rewards Americas properties due to the increase in points required for each category level.
Radisson properties include the following brands:
Radisson.
Radisson Blu.
Radisson Red.
Radisson Collection.
Park Plaza.
Park Inn by Radisson.
Country Inn & Suites.
Radisson Individuals.
Prizeotel — operates in Europe only. Members of Radisson Rewards can earn and redeem points at its locations.
Points required for a free night often correlate with the caliber of hotel brand. To learn how to book award nights, including how to take advantage of RewardSaver rooms, which cost 33% fewer points than standard rooms, check out our in-depth guide to booking award nights using Radisson points.
The region that you book your hotel in determines which program you can redeem points through. If you already have a loyalty account with Radisson, log in to check if your existing account was converted into a Radisson Rewards Americas or a Radisson Rewards account.
You will need to create an account with the second program if you plan on staying at a property that belongs to a region that isn’t covered by whichever program your current account is with.
