The Guide to Priority Pass Lounges at DFW
The Guide to Priority Pass Lounges at DFW-December 2024
Dec 21, 2024 8:50 AM

You'll be glad to use your Priority Pass in Dallas. As the largest hub for American Airlines, Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) has over 20 lounges on site. Its lounge roster includes an American Express Centurion Lounge, a Delta Sky Club, a United Club and American’s Admirals Clubs, but these can be restricted to passengers with eligible access.

That’s why cards like The Platinum Card® from American Express, which come with Priority Pass membership (enrollment required), can be the golden ticket for certain travelers.

Here's what you need to know about the Priority Pass lounges at DFW.

About the lounges

Priority Pass cardmembers get access to several lounges of their own, regardless of the airline they are flying. Whether you buy an annual membership to Priority Pass or take advantage of the many credit cards that come with Priority Pass access, this guide can help you figure out the best Priority Pass lounge at DFW airport for your style.

There are five Priority Pass options here to choose from, perfect for a bite to eat, a quick nap or a cocktail or two. Unfortunately, there are no Priority Pass restaurants at DFW like you can find at other airports, including Portland or Miami.

Note: Due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns, some lounge benefits and/or hours of operation may be temporarily altered or unavailable. Always check directly with the lounge or Priority Pass website for the most up-to-date details on availability.

Priority Pass options at Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW)

Minute Suites - Terminal A

Location: Terminal A, near Gate A38

Hours: 24 hours

Conditions: Maximum stay is limited to one hour using Priority Pass benefit. Only one card per visit per member.

More info: Priority Pass website

Priority Pass members can use Minute Suites for a quick nap or place to work for an hour. The benefit with Priority Pass is one hour of free use, although additional hours are available for purchase at $28 per hour. Up to three guests can join the cardholder without charge. Each room contains a daybed sofa, pillows, blankets, workstation and noise masking system. There are no beverages or snacks included in the visit.

Minute Suites - Terminal D

Location: Terminal D, near Gate D23

Hours: 24 hours

Conditions: Maximum stay is limited to one hour when using Priority Pass. Only one card per visit per member.

More info: Priority Pass website

Similar to its counterpart in Terminal A, this Priority Pass option provides the cardholder with a private room to relax, work or nap. No food or drinks are included. As an added benefit, customers can pay an additional $20 for 30-minute access to a shower facility.

Gameway - Terminal B

Location: Terminal B, near the Skylink train and Gate B42

Hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Conditions: A visit is good for one gaming console use.

More info: Priority Pass website

Gamers will be in paradise at this hub for video games. Not a traditional lounge, Gameway features large-screen TVs and comfortable seating with video game consoles. Headphones mean that the video game action can be as loud as you like. One lounge visit includes two hours of game play; those who want to stay longer can pay by the hour. There are also charging ports for mobile devices and storage space for your luggage.

Priority Pass members can select one complimentary drink from the fridge and two packaged snacks. You don’t have to stick around to play, either. If you just want the snacks, you can swipe your card, grab your goodies and be on your way.

Gameway - Terminal E

Location: Terminal E, near Gate E16

Hours: 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Conditions: A visit is good for one gaming console use.

More info: Priority Pass website

Like the Gameway in Terminal B, this is a great option for video game fans, but is also a convenient stop for those who want to grab a snack and refreshment as they walk to their flight. Each visit comes with one drink from the fridge and two snacks. For those who stay, there are leather chairs and video game consoles with more than two dozen games to play.

The Club DFW

Location: Terminal D, on the Mezzanine level, near Gate D27

Hours: 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Conditions: Access permitted up to three hours prior to departure. Children younger than 2 are admitted free.

More info: Priority Pass website

This is the only traditional lounge at DFW for Priority Pass cardholders, and it offers a decent selection of snacks and a cocktail bar with complimentary drinks. While this is the best option for hungry Priority Pass cardholders, it can be quite a walk for those not traveling from Terminal D. The Skylink train makes getting around easier, but allow time for the transit.

How to access these lounges

You can buy a Priority Pass membership starting at $99 per year, but you can get Priority Pass lounge access for free as a credit card perk.

These are the premium cards that include free Priority Pass membership:

Chase Sapphire Reserve®.

Citi Prestige® Card.

Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card.

The Hilton Honors American Express Business Card (10 visits per cardmember year). Enrollment required. Terms apply.

Hilton Honors American Express Surpass® Card (10 visits per cardmember year*). Enrollment required. Terms apply.

Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant® American Express® Card.

The Business Platinum Card® from American Express. Enrollment required.

The Platinum Card® from American Express.

U.S. Bank Altitude™ Reserve Visa Infinite® Card.

Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card.

*Existing cardholders who enrolled in Priority Pass on or before Jan. 31, 2023 will no longer have a membership as of Feb. 1, 2024. Cardholders who enroll between Feb. 1, 2023 and Jan. 31, 2024, will continue to have membership through Oct. 31, 2024. Terms apply.

These cards typically offer Priority Pass Select membership. That means you have unlimited visits to any of the more than 1,300 lounges within the global network (except for the noted exceptions above).

Make sure you read the terms of your card, as not all allow two guests free of charge (most do, though). The cost for an additional guest varies between $27 to $35 per person and as of Oct. 1, 2023, the cost of lounge visits beyond the free allowances that come with Priority Pass Select membership has increased to $35 per person, per visit.

If you visit a Priority Pass lounge at DFW

Priority Pass members traveling through Dallas have five options available to them depending on the terminal they are flying from and the timing of their trip. Of the five options, only one is a traditional lounge, with the other four specializing in gaming entertainment or napping.

The lounge nearest your departure gate (or in your departing terminal) may have reduced hours, not be easily accessible or offer limited access for Priority Pass members, so check the Priority Pass website before you head to the airport.
