With over two dozen Marriott hotels in the Las Vegas area, it can be daunting to know where you’ll get the best value, location and amenities for your award stay. Here, organized by location, is a rundown of some great places to use your Bonvoy points in Las Vegas.

If you want to be close to the action of the Las Vegas Strip but are also looking for Bonvoy elite perks and a free night or two, you’ve got three Marriott properties to choose from.

"The Cosmo" is the cream of the crop for Marriott hotels in Las Vegas. Marriott now uses a dynamic pricing system for award stays, so the cost to stay here will vary based on demand and time of year. Rates usually range from 70,000-100,00 points per night (plus a resort fee). It is one of only a few Marriott hotels in Las Vegas that also has a casino, so if you want slot machines, table games and a sportsbook at a Marriott on the Strip, you’ll have to pony up for a stay at the Cosmo.
Beyond being a luxury resort, the Cosmopolitan’s other major advantage is its location. It’s the only Marriott-branded hotel actually on the Las Vegas Strip and is centrally located between Aria and Bellagio.
The Cosmo has all the amenities you’ll find in other top-end Las Vegas resorts including a variety of dining options, three swimming pools, a full spa, two fitness centers and tennis courts. If nightclubs are your scene, the Cosmo is also home to Marquee, a lounge-style club featuring food, drinks, music and bottle service.

If the Cosmo’s rates are a little too rich for your Bonvoy account, Marriott’s Grand Chateau is an excellent option for Bonvoy loyalists who want to stay close to the Strip. While not technically on the Strip, the Grand Chateau is a crosswalk away from the side entrance to the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, giving you easy access to a wide range of dining, gambling and entertainment options on Las Vegas Boulevard. The Grand Chateau award pricing usually ranges in between 40,000 and 52,000 points per night, but can vary based on Marriott's dynamic pricing system.
This hotel is unique in that it is part of the Marriott Vacation Club and features one-, two- and three-bedroom villa-style rooms in addition to standard guest rooms. You’ll likely see a lot of families at this hotel regardless of the time of year.
Though dining options are limited, there is a lobby market with quick grab-and-go options and Starbucks coffee, in addition to the 5th Floor Pool Bar & Grill. The nearby Miracle Mile Shops has dozens of places to eat and drink.
While you won’t find a nightclub or casino, there are two pools, a fitness center and several activity and game areas for adults and kids alike.
If you’re a Bonvoy elite member, you may not get to take advantage of all your benefits at the Grand Chateau because of its Vacation Club association. But if you’re looking to earn or redeem Marriott points and want a prime location, the Grand Chateau can be a great option.

With a location walkable to both Bally’s and Flamingo, The Westin Las Vegas provides a third option for travelers wanting easy access to the Las Vegas Strip while burning some Bonvoy points for a cheap stay. This Westin will generally run you 30,000 to 40,000 points per night, providing a slightly cheaper option to the Grand Chateau.
With a rooftop pool (plus cabanas), two restaurants, a Starbucks and a fitness center, there’s plenty to like about the Westin other than its close-to-the-Strip position. The Westin is ideal for Bonvoy members who don’t want to splurge for the Cosmo and want to avoid the vacationing families at the Grand Chateau, but still desire a nice hotel with amenities within walking distance of Strip casinos.
These hotels are your go-tos if you’re attending an event at the Las Vegas Convention Center, don’t mind a rideshare (or monorail) to get to the Strip or are in town for an event being held elsewhere and you will have a rental car.

If you’re looking for an elevated experience away from the noise and chaos of the Strip, both the Las Vegas Marriott and Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel fit the bill. Each has a pool and fitness center, along with a Starbucks and easy access to the Las Vegas Monorail to get you to the Strip. The Las Vegas Marriott boasts two restaurants, whereas the Renaissance has only one.
An award night at either of these hotels will usually run you 30,000 to 40,000 Bonvoy points. It is important to note that the Renaissance will tack on a resort fee to your stay, even if booked on points.

You can save some points at any of these three hotels, which will generally run you 20,000 to 30,000 points per night. For an award stay, your best bet is either the SpringHill Suites Las Vegas Convention Center or the Residence Inn Las Vegas Convention Center.
In addition to the standard amenities (pool, fitness center, restaurant), they both also have complimentary breakfast each morning and suite-style rooms with more space than a standard guest room. The Residence Inn has fully equipped kitchens in the rooms as well.
