The S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna-sponsored World's 50 Best Restaurants will be back in June 2024 with this year's winners. The annual gastronomic meeting will be held in Las Vegas. Ahead of the announcement of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2024, sponsored by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna on Wednesday, June 5, they have revealed the restaurants ranked from 51st to 100th this year. Spanning across 23 destinations, the expanded list showcases some of the most renowned restaurants globally, with several new additions. The prestigious names that are gracing the list are nothing short of extraordinary. Among this year's winners are two restaurants from India. Read on to know more about them.

　　Indian Accent, Delhi, at No. 89

　　Delhi-based Indian Accent is known for showcasing the innovative cuisine of renowned chef Manish Mehrotra. Since its establishment in 2009, the restaurant has been offering a delightful blend of modern, creative dishes and exceptional hospitality. As 50 Best said, "Chef Manish Mehrotra’s inventive tasting menus have played judiciously with his country’s palate to craft unique takes on Indian classics". The restaurant's tasting menu features a variety of small bites and signature dishes such as meetha achaar pork spare ribs with star fruit and sea bass with gongura pickle and coconut barley. 　　Masque, Mumbai at No. 78

　　One of India’s most forward-thinking restaurants, Masque aims to showcase the country’s rich produce by maximising the flavors of local ingredients in a 10-course tasting menu. The restaurant is located in a stylish former Mumbai textile mill. Led by self-taught cook and entrepreneur Aditi Dugar, Masque has received numerous accolades since its opening in 2016. Following the departure of founding chef Prateek Sadhu in 2022, Varun Totlani, a Mumbai native, has taken over the culinary leadership and is quickly establishing a stellar reputation of his own. 　　In 2023, among the winners were two restaurants known for their inherently Indian cuisine. Chef Himanshu Saini's Dubai-based Tresind Studio ranked 11th, and the Bangkok-based, fine-dining eponymous restaurant Gaggan Anand which came in at number 17th.
