World of Hyatt, Hyatt's hotel rewards program, offers members sweet spot redemptions and plenty of aspirational, bucket list properties in its portfolio.
World of Hyatt points can provide a lot of value if you’re a Hyatt loyalist who earns points with every stay, if you have the World of Hyatt Credit Card or if you want to book a Hyatt hotel for your next vacation.
And whenever you’re short on points, there's a fast, instant way to pad your balance: Chase Ultimate Rewards® transfers.
For anyone with a card that earns Chase Ultimate Rewards®, like the Chase Sapphire Reserve® or Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card, the ability to transfer points from Chase to a variety of travel partners — including World of Hyatt — is a nice perk.
But what should you do if your points transfer hits a snag and doesn’t move between accounts instantly?
Here’s what to know about the potential hiccups that can occur when transferring points between Chase Ultimate Rewards® and World of Hyatt. If your Chase transfer to Hyatt is not working, start here.
Chase Ultimate Rewards® is the points currency that you earn based on credit card spending with an eligible Chase card. Many categories come with bonus points, too. For example, you’ll earn 3x points on dining and travel with the Chase Sapphire Reserve® or 3x points on online groceries, dining and select streaming services with the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card.
These points can be redeemed like cash for travel spending through the Chase Ultimate Rewards® portal at a rate of 1 point per 1.5 cents with the Chase Sapphire Reserve® or 1 point per 1.25 cents with the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card.
There are many Chase transfer partners in the Ultimate Rewards® portfolio — including loyalty programs like World of Hyatt — but also United MileagePlus, Flying Blue Air France-KLM, Marriott Bonvoy and IHG One Rewards, among others.
